Four New Assistant Chief Immigration Judges (May 2020)

On May 22, 2020, the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) announced the appointment of four new assistant chief immigration judges [PDF version]. Assistant chief immigration judges have the responsibility of overseeing the overall operations of the immigration courts to which they are assigned. Assistant chief immigration judges also hear cases. None of the four new assistant chief immigration judges have prior experience on the immigration bench.
