EOIR Announces New Appointments in November 2015
EOIR Announces the Appointment of Six New Assistant Chief Immigration Judges
On November 12, 2015, the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) announced the appointment of six new assistant chief immigration judges (ACIJs). ACIJs take on a managerial role and are responsible for overseeing the operations of the immigration courts to which they are assigned. The six new ACIJs will join the ten ACIJs who currently have assignments [see PDF].1 The new ACIJs will continue to hear cases in addition to their new managerial responsibilities.
The new judges are Mary Cheng (prev. IJ at the New York Immigration Court); Irene C. Feldman (prev. IJ at the Eloy Immigration Court); Amy C. Hoogasian (prev. IJ at the San Francisco Immigration Court); H. Kevin Mart (prev. IJ at the Miami Immigration Court); Sheila McNulty (prev. IJ at the Chicago Immigration Court); and Clarence M. Wagner Jr. (prev. IJ at the Honolulu Immigration Court).

EOIR Swears in Two New Immigration Judges
On November 6, 2015, the EOIR swore in two new immigration judges (IJs). The two new IJs will join the 19 new IJs who were appointed in June of 2015.
Immigration Judge Daniel J. Daugherty will serve on the Las Vegas Immigration Court while Judge Jonathan S. Simpson will serve on the San Francisco Immigration Court.
