EOIR Opens Conroe Immigration Court

On October 15, 2018, the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) opened the Conroe Immigration Court [PDF version]. The Conroe Immigration Court is a detained-only Immigration Court serving the Houston, Texas, area of operations.

The Conroe Immigration Court customer service window will be open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM every Monday through Friday.

The Conroe Immigration Court is replacing the Houston Detained Immigration Court at 5520 Greens Road. The EOIR will continue to conduct hearings at the site, however. The EOIR explained that “[c]ourt filings at 5520 Greens Road will only be taken in court on cases pending before the judges presiding at the Greens Road hearing location.” Going forward, “[a]ll court filings for all hearing locations under the Conroe Immigration Court should be mailed to the Conroe Immigration Court address or hand delivered to the customer service window at the Conroe Immigration Court.”
