Immigration attorney Alexander J. Segal has made it his life’s mission to help immigrants in need. Mr. Segal founded The Law Offices of Grinberg & Segal, PLLC with immigration attorney Eliza Grinberg to provide immigrants with a law firm that is dedicated to protecting their rights. Attorney Segal has extensive experience representing clients in virtually every area of immigration law, including working in the complex area of deportation and immigration detention. Attorney Segal has extensive immigration litigation experience, allowing him to successfully represent clients before Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, and Federal Courts of both Circuit as well as District levels. Mr. Segal has continuously represented immigrants before the Bureau of U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services in connection to various immigration petitions. Attorney Segal dedicates a substantial portion of his immigration practice to appellate work such as appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and U.S. Court of Appeals for several judicial circuits as well as motions to reopen and reconsider, cases involving criminal aliens, and Federal Court actions such as Habeas Corpus, Mandamus and those under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA).

Alexander Segal has extensive experience in defending immigration clients in Removal Proceedings before the Immigration Courts across the United States. Attorney Segal frequently represents individuals, families, and businesses in a range of interviews and appearances before the Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services whether in connection with applications for asylum, temporary visas, lawful permanent residence, or naturalization. Mr. Segal has witnessed the challenges that immigrants face in the United States first hand, which gives him the ability to treat each and every case with empathy and compassion.
