President Trump Nominates Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court

On January 31, 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit to the United States Supreme Court. In so doing, President Trump fulfilled his campaign promise to pick a well-qualified conservative jurist from his list of twenty-one potential nominees.

Judge Gorsuch compiled an impressive resume during his tenure on the Tenth Circuit. He showed fidelity to the laws, impressive legal reasoning, and exceptional writing ability. I look forward to writing a full article about Judge Gorsuch's background and legal positions in the near future. For the time being, I praise President Trump for nominating an individual who promises to be an terrific Supreme Court Justice.
