I am using this opportunity to express my gratitude to Alexander Segal, Wendy Barlow, and the rest of this amazing team! My road to obtaining permanent residency status was very long and hard. I was unfortunate to trust my asylum case to an attorney who did not know what he was doing. As the result, my petition was denied and I was in removal proceedings. I made a decision to change my attorney, but was turned down by a few law offices who did not want to handle my complicated case. I went into Mr Segal’s office for a consultation on my removal proceedings case, it was the beginning of 2017, I was recently married and very nervous about starting the process to become a legal resident for fear of deportation. I came with my case to attorney Segal after another attorney ruined my asylum case and I was about to be deported. He is a very knowledgeable straight forward person who told me right away that my chances are slim to none. He didn’t sugar coat anything. He told me that the process will be long, exhausting, and expensive with a slim chance for success. He sent me home to think about it. One week later I decided to proceed with the case. I paid money for the consultation and expected more attentive attitude. During the consultation Alexander didn’t care about internet connection so I didn’t hear him. Best decision I made was walking into Alexander’s office when I was facing deportation.
