On June 14, 2016, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released its most recent average processing times for the Immigrant Investor Program Office [PDF version]. The processing times are based on processing dates as of April 30, 2016.

The chart contains average processing time information for three forms associated with the EB5 immigrant investor program. These forms are the:

I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur;
I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions; and
I-924, Application for Regional Center Under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program.

The USCIS notes that the chart only represents the average processing times for the three EB5 forms. It is possible that individual cases may take longer to process. An applicant who has a pending I-526, I-829, or I-924 may check his or her case status online. USCIS advises that an applicant whose form is pending beyond the stated processing timeframe may send an email inquiry to USCIS at [email protected].
